Michael Suk-Young Chwe has a
page with the corresponding title, which I found extremely helpful.
Since my name is often mispronounced I decided to write a similar page
myself.
Let me begin by saying that "Kóczy" is not contemporary
spelling, so even a basic Hungarian textbook would not help. Presently
it would be written "Kóci", but names of course do not change.
In fact, there are many names that end with "-czy", such as
that of Kazinczy,
a great reformer of the Hungarian language. Since Hungarian sounds do
not fully correspond to English sounds the transcriptions are by no
means perfect.

The stress is always on the underlined syllables. See here
for more on Hungarian pronounciation.
In Hungarian you would put the names the other way around, but that
is another story...
