Further Information:

The workshop starts at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 29th, and will take place at

Maastricht University, Tongersestraat 53, Maastricht: building 35 on UMaastrichtMap.jpg

How to get to the workshop venue (the faculty's link):

If you arrive at the station and the weather is nice, walking is not a bad option (about 20-30 minutes). The following link should give you an online route from the Station to the faculty: mappy route

However, in front of the station there are taxis and there is also a bus stop where you can take bus number 3 (direction Wolder), 4 (direction Villapark), or 9 (direction Pottenberg). Due to downtown construction work, the route of these buses was changed and there is currently NO bus stop is right in front of the faculty. The advise of the bus company is to get out at bus stop Cannerweg/Cannerplein (bus number 3), Waldeckpark (bus number 4), or Cannerplein (bus number 9).

Shuttle Service:

There is a shuttle service between the Brussels Airport (Zaventem) and Maastricht: link

Parking:

You can park during the workshop (but only until 18:00) on the faculty's parking lot. However, we need you to register in order to use this offer. Thus, if you plan to come by car and use the faculty's parking lot, please register this with Kelly Moonen (k.moonen@algec.unimaas.nl) asap.

Please note that the gates of the parking lot will close around 18:00! So people coming by car who would like to attend the workshop dinner have to park their car elsewere (at least after 18:00). Parking downtown is difficult, but there are a number of paid parking places on the Tongersestraat or you can use the underground parking garage at the "Vrijthof" link (which is in walking distance from the faculty and the MABI restaurant).

We will organize a workshop dinner at the MABI (link) on Saturday night. For those interested, we kindly request a participation share of 20 Euro to be paid at the conference site and a registration e-mail before April 20th. You can now check out the menu here: pdf file
