Let me introduce
myself. I am Martijn Tennekes, born in 1981, and currently working on a PhD
project at
I study models where
individual agents are able to link up with each other. Here, I mainly focus on
the existence of stable networks (called Nash networks), and the convergence of
the dynamic process of adding, removing and replacing links. Applications of
these models can be found in the study of social and economic structures. This
PhD research is joint work with Jean Derks, Jeroen
Mathematical areas of
interest: (non)-cooperative game theory, combinatorial
optimization and graph theory.
In the first two years
as PhD student, I followed courses at the LNMB (Landelijk Netwerk Mathematische Besliskunde),
and therefore received an LNMB certificate.
