  1. CoCoMac (Collations of Connectivity data on the Macaque brain) is a systematic record of the known connectivity of the primate brain collected in a database. For more information see http://cocomac.org/. For a very decent 'getting started guide' kind of document see this preprint of: Kötter R.   2. To export from the CoCoMac database, in the output list choose output type XML -> Browser. (In some browsers you will NOT be prompted to save an xml file, in that case view the source and save that.)

  3. To import in the I/O tool, choose File > Import from XML.

  4. Download executable here (zip). Made by Michael Capalbo. I work at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Maastricht and needed this program for my PhD. thesis. It was made using Borland Delphi 7 and tested only under W2k and XP.   5. When you import an xml file, it will immediately be displayed in a list form. If you want to see it in table form chose 'Create table' in the File menu or chose the appropriate button. Depending on the 'View' you have selected (either List or Table) the projections will be exported in either list or table form respectively.

  6. Export to Microsoft Excel by clicking the export button with the green arrow or the appropriate item in the file menu. Because this is done using intra-application automation, this can take a little while with large data sets. Do not close excel before the application closes.

  7. Export to text by clicking the export button with the blue arrow or the appropriate item in the file menu. Text files can be read by a lot of programs and on a lot of platforms. This is very fast so do not worry if nothing seems to happen.
